Making a reptile fogger for your vivarium is quite simple – but there are some very important things to know before you start!
In this video I share and explain all of the important considerations one should have when selecting a room humidifier for conversion into a reptile fogger for your vivarium. Once we have established what is required, I show you step by step how to convert a room humidifier into a reptile vivarium fogger.
Converting humidifiers into reptile or vivarium foggers can be a great tool for increasing humidity in your vivarium – but use with caution! The fogger system shown in this video was for a very large vivarium that required a higher humidity level to be maintained. I use a combination of equipment and methods to regulate humidity correctly, not just a humidifier! Even with this size vivarium it is set to almost the lowest flow setting possible.
