THROWBACK MONDAY x EARLY TRAVEL TIP TUESDAY
Since my late Bailey’s birthday was on October 15th, I thought I would use an old video of him for today’s travel tip, road trip with a dog!
When doing solo road trips in the past, I used to love ❤️ when I could bring Bailey along. He was like an extra security blanket, back seat driver and companion.
But he needed care too! Here are a few travel tips I used to do to make sure he had a comfy ride:
✨ Made sure he had enough space to stretch out
✨ Gave him his favorite toy and sweater for the ride
✨ Made sure he ate, relieved himself and gave him water before the ride
✨ Gave him some snacks during the ride
✨ Made sure he got out to stretch when I stopped (and relieve himself or give him water, if he wanted)
✨ And I made sure I gave him head rubs along the way
