Vetario® Intensive Care Units are small animal care products designed and manufactured by Brinsea Products Ltd in Somerset, UK. Brinsea has worked for many years with vets and animal rescue centres to provide equipment designed to give sick and injured animals the environment they need to make the quickest and safest recovery. The Vetario T40M and T50M models are the top of the range, full-featured, professional grade veterinary intensive care units which combine temperature control, humidity management, drug nebulisation and oxygen therapy. The Vetario T40M and T50M have been designed to control risks associated with the use of oxygen and for additional reassurance they have been independently tested by BSI for product safety to the Animal and Medical Incubator standards. These models feature a sophisticated control system which includes audible and visual warning of temperature fluctuations. Air is gently fan circulated through a dust filter to ensure sufficient filtered fresh air and even temperature. The air circulation system maintains slight positive pressure in the chamber and expels air from adjustable vents and around the door to inhibit airborne bacteria reaching the patient. A removable water reservoir, complete with evaporating block, is fitted to the underside of the ceiling and can be used to reduce the risk of patients dehydrating during treatment. The rate of fresh air exchange can be adjusted with vent control mounted on the door.
The S40 & 50 Eco Series II and the S40 & 50 Advance Series II models are hygienic, temperature-controlled recovery units without the medical and oxygen capability options. The smaller Vetario S30 and T30 models are very flexible and ideal for animal rescue and transportation as they are portable, stackable and can be powered by the mains or a car power adaptor (available separately – part number 15.45).
All Vetario models come with a 3-year guarantee, subject to online registration.
