Scaly Rat Tail | Pet Rat Help

So this was a new one for us. I always think we’ve learned so much and then something new and unexpected pops up. From what I’ve gathered, with this set of girls all being rescues (I’d argue the two we got from a breeder going out of business are rescues from lack of socialization), none of them instinctually, obsessively clean their tails. We clean the cage on the same schedule as the other cage and we are only seeing this kind of tail in the rescue cage. So, we’re hoping this does the trick!
