What to expect at the Safari Park featuring a comprehensive guide to the exhibits, attractions, animals, with tips and information. We start with 10 things you should know before visiting the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Then we travel around the 1800 acre Safari park getting footage from as many animals and attractions as possible. One of the first things I’d recommend is riding the Africa Tram. This is a 25 minute tour that travels around a large open area called the savannah habitat. This area is only accessible by tram or safari – and on the tour you’ll get to see a variety of wildlife all living together.
