Many tiny animals raised as pets have a limited life expectancy. It’s no surprise, however, that many people assume rabbits to fall into the same category. Rabbits, on the other hand, may live for a very long period. My eldest rabbit survived to the age of 13! And some other rabbits in my family have lived to reach 9-10 years old. If you learn to care for your rabbit properly, it might remain your friend for a long time.

Pet rabbits have a lifespan of 8 to 12 years. This figure will vary based on the breed of rabbit and the level of care provided. The life expectancy of wild rabbits is only approximately 1-2 years.
