Rabbit Care in Winters



The ideal temperature for rabbit is 15 to 21 Degree Celsius. If the temperature exceeds 27 Degree Celsius, they may experience heat stroke resulting in death. Rabbits are warm blooded animals. The fur keeps them warm. They can maintain their body temperature with respect to the surroundings by generating more heat in the body in the winter season. To generate heat, they need to consume more food in winters. Rabbits have no problem with cold, problem arises when rabbit gets cold and wet. Make sure to give your rabbit bath less number of times as compared to summer season. During the night, if possible try to keep your bunny inside home.
