Today, I’m showing you how I personally groom and cut my rabbit’s nails, specifically my flemish giant. There’s a lot of controversy out there on “trancing” and flipping a rabbit on its back. I am not an expert nor professional, this is what I’ve been cleared to do from my vet and advice/tips I’ve learned from my local rabbit rescue. I’ve always struggled with this process since I didn’t have a second hand to help me, so this is what works for me and I hope it brings you some insight!

My flemish giant (Taro) doesn’t enjoy being picked up and hates grooming which I know many pet owners resonate with. I highly suggest educating yourself with additional material/resources; the nice lady with glasses on YouTube that talks about rabbit care is fantastic!
