How To House Two Birds In The Same Cage Together | Parrot Behaviour Guide | TheParrotTeacher

Hi everyone!

Thanks for watching my video on how to house two birds together in the same cage.

This is another video I get lots of questions on, so I thought I’d make it to go alongside my bonding two parrots together video. It’s also a topic that crops up loads on various forums and comments, so I thought it was important to make.

It’s also something me and Sophie have recently worked on, so we wanted to share that knowledge and experience we gained to help you all!

It’s very important to remember to work on basic bonding between parrots before you even consider caging them together. It isn’t something that should be rushed into! Also each parrot is an individual, so some may bond and work out very well, others may take longer or never get on.

I hope you found it useful and some of the tips come in handy. These tips will apply to most parrot species, but remember birds are individuals! If you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments as I’d love to chat to you.
