Horned Lizard, The Best Pet Lizard?
Horned lizards, or as I knew them growing up, horned toads, (Phrynosoma spp.) are incredibly neat little lizards. That said, they are not generally very good pets. Why? In a word, ants. In three words, lots of ants. But let’s take a deeper look at these amazing lizards anyway just to determine if the horned lizard is the best pet reptile for you.
