Caring For Pets In Transit: Immigration & Final Journey | On The Red Dot – At The Vets

Mobile vet Dr Forest pays a visit to the Animal Quarantine Centre, to check in on Lolly. The golden retriever must pass a rabies test before he can travel to Australia to join his owners. But she then gets a call to perform a difficult procedure elsewhere – a home euthanasia.

Meanwhile, an emergency case is rushed in for Dr Jean. A 20-year-old Chihuahua is on the brink of organ failure, and it is touch-and-go if the pooch will make it through the night.

Dr Chow is operating on Yuki, the Maltese, to remove tumours on her mammary glands. But what started as a simple surgery turns out to be something more drastic.
