Budgie Care: Part 1- Set-up & Supplies

hi everyone! i have changed my cage up a bit, and i might do a video later to show you what its like. but i do want to mention that they have a couple toys in their cage now, and if you are wondering what kind of toy to get, i would recommend something with rope or paper. basically something that they can destroy. my birds love rope! just make sure that you get toys that are size appropriate for the bird, and you should only get a couple. yu don’t want to overcrowd their cage.
there is one thing i forgot to mention in this vid, and that is about the thickness of your budgies perch. you need to make sure that it is thick enough so that your budgies front and back nail don’t touch. it is very bad for them if their nail is digging into their foot. however, you don’t want the perch so thick that they can’t even curl their feet around it.
