***Bogart Bio:
🦜My 40 year old lovey-dovey Congo African grey, I picked her out as an egg in 1980, and waited till she hatched.

🦜She stayed at the breeder for two weeks to wean her. I daily visited her during that two-week period and hand fed her as much as I could.

🦜I was so excited welcomingher into my family.

🦜I had her a week or more in a small aquarium with a heating pad at the bottom, and then I changed her to a small cage as I was teaching her to learn to step on a perch.

🦜From there she graduated to a larger cage then finally our large stainless steel cage.

🦜I aways try to show my bird extra love and attention. She repeat everything I speak and she sounds like my voice.

🦜I always thought she was a boy! As I recall, about the age of 18 she was at the veterinary clinic and the Vet had to draw blood, at the same time he asked if I would like to know the sex of my bird. I said yes and sometimes after the DNA Test , the Vet told me it was a boy.

🦜In 2018 I got married, when my bird met my wife , they got along pretty quick but then she started laying eggs several months later as she thought my wife her mate. I was incredibly shocked !

🦜I’d like to share with you the tips and treats in learning how to care for a parrot and ensure our beloved Birdies will live a comfortable and joyful life.
