Do betta fish need filtration? It’s a question that is constantly brought up in the world of fishkeeping. My answer will always be yes! Today we explore why your betta fish needs a filter. I debunk three common myths surrounding betta fish care and help provide resources on better setups for betta splendens.
NOT MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO: Betta fish are not from mud puddles or dirty environments. Their wild ancestors live in rice paddies that are inches deep and can stretch for meters. The water is murky but clean as it doesn’t contain ammonia and other toxins found in an uncycled home aquarium. Uneducated and hateful comments will be deleted and users will be blocked.
