Python wonโ€™t work with any of my faucets.
Had hoped to modify the washer hot and cold in faucets with y connector to accomplish the same thing but thatโ€™s apparently easier said than done.

I was able to bring them together in a y connector. It is a little tricky to get temp right. My setups are out in the garage so not a real big deal if I spill a little. You DID say you were trying to adapt a python to work. Either way, for the monthly water change, a python would still be nice to be able to use.

Python is a a good option. Personally I use an electric pump and a hose. This save money if you pay for your water. Pythons can raise your water bill considerably if you have a lot of tanks. If you’d like more specifics I would be more than will to post the info! Aquarium Silver Dollar Fish Care.

I have 2 pythons. I had all my tanks upstairs then we remodeled our basement. I moved all but 1 tank downstairs so I got the longer python for that space, My faucet didn’t work either. I even bought the other adaptor they sell but it didn’t work either. I had a handyman out for something and I asked him to see if one of the 2 new faucets I had bought would work with the python. He found a hose quick release I had sitting around and modified my faucet very simply to take the quick release. Now I have 8 tanks in my basement. I’d hate to see you give up the most peaceful hobby because of your back. Maybe there is a way to get that sucker to work? Otherwise, the nano fish, lots of plants, and minimal feedings will keep your water in great shape! Good luck!

Of course.
I have multiple sponge filters running and assorted hobs (aquaclear & quiet something er other). Tanks r 75, 30t, 36, 10, 5, 2.5, 20. Also a couple small box filters.
