Setting Up A Quarantine Tank & Adding Fish | Beginner Guide To Saltwater Aquariums

In this video I will be talking about the new quarantine system along with adding one purple tile goby, and three chromis. I start by floating all fish in the shipping bag for about 20 minutes. After they have adapted to the tanks temperature its time to drip them in a separate container in order to match salinity. All my fish spend a minimum of four weeks in quarantine if everything goes well. If i should have to treat for an illness they stay an additional four weeks after the last sign of infection. A quarantine system is the best way to prevent your main display from getting parasites and ick.
