sera Academy | The learning platform for the pet trade
The sera Academy is an eLearning platform for acquiring or improving specialized knowledge in the aquarium, terrarium, and pond areas as well as specific know-how about sera products. sera is thus focusing on specialized pet retailers as well as their employees. Participation in the digital courses is, of course, free of charge.
Digital education: easy and flexible
Interested pet retailers can now register on the platform and automatically get access to all available courses in English. To participate, you only need a (mobile) device with an Internet connection, such as a laptop or tablet. The courses are available around the clock. At the beginning, sera offers twelve product and three topical trainings in the category “Nutrition” (freshwater aquarium). At the beginning of the year 2024, further product and topical trainings in the area of “Care” will be added.
Theoretical knowledge and practical tips
The sera Academy trainings do not only provide comprehensive product information combined with useful practical tips for the daily consulting routine in the pet shop, but also a look behind the scenes at sera. How is the ornamental fish food manufactured, which ingredients are used (and which are not – and above all: why?) and how does quality control work? These are some of the questions that are answered during the training sessions. At the end of each training, a final quiz is taken to ensure the success of the learning process. If the quiz is completed successfully, participants automatically receive personalized certificates that can be downloaded and printed.
