PLANT THIS For More Black Swallowtail Butterflies In Your Garden!

In today’s 2 minute garden tip, I share how to attract more black swallowtail butterflies in your garden! First, we identify the black swallowtail caterpillar so we don’t confuse it with a pest and harm it by accident. Then, we discuss the black swallowtail caterpillar’s 3 favorite garden plants and the #1 plant you should grow to attract them.

Black swallowtail caterpillars are sometimes called parsley worms because of their love for parsley. This can confuse gardeners who may view this beneficial insect as a pest and dispose of it to protect their parsley crop. Never fear! There is a better plant you can grow to feed the swallowtail caterpillars with no consequence! Simply pick up the caterpillars and relocate them safely to this plant instead.
