New Koi Betta Fish, Tank, and Beginner Tips

Here’s an introduction to my new aquarium and some things I’ve learned along the way. Meet Nanaki, and his tank mates… He’s a Tiger Koi Halfmoon Plakat male Siamese Fighting fish. His community consists of Neon Tetras, an Otocinclus catfish, Tiger Nerite snail, and Amano shrimp. It’s a live planted tank with java fern, as well as Amazon Frogbit. I’m also running a Tetra Whisper filter which was modified to reduce flow.
