My 150 liter freshwater aquarium

I like to keep my aquarium rich in plant life. There are a lot of reasons for that. For instance they give oxygen to your water and help to create a natural habitat for your other aquarium life. Some fish just feel safer underneath a big leaf. Others just eat the plants. Point is some fish depend on plants for more than one reason. Before buying your fish it’s always a good thing to read about them and see wat it’s necessities are. Make sure it’s going to feel right at home in your tank.

As you can see I have a healthy colored ‘Pelvicachromis pulcher’ swimming around. It’s the yellow and red fish giving the camera a lot of attention. These fish are very curious and are a lot of fun to look at. They will certainly liven up your tank. They are usually held together as a couple. But unfortunately her mate died a few months ago.
