How to Introduce Copepods into your Reef Aquarium
Copepods are tiny crustaceans that consume organic waste and are an excellent natural source of fish food. They often find their way into reef aquariums as hitchikers on live rock, coral frags, and macroalgae.
You can also introduce these beneficial little critters into your tank to increase the diversity of species and boost populations.
We carry a couple of different varities of live aquacultured copepods from Florida-based biotechnology firm, AlgaGen.
In today’s video, we’ll show you how to safely introduce them into your tank to create a more biodiverse reef system!
