How Many Guppy Fish Can You Keep in a 10 Gallon Tank? #shorts
Learn more about guppy fish at Fish Laboratory.
How many guppies can you keep in a 10 gallon tank? There’s a lot of factors to consider, but if we apply the general guideline of “one inch of fish per gallon of water,” you can keep about 5 guppies in a 10 gallon aquarium. Some breeders will stock more guppies without any issues, if you don’t want to be doing water changes every day, it is best to keep the aquarium understocked. This is especially true, considering how quickly guppies breed and how easily the tank can get overcrowded.
