Episode #19, 2023: Door Co Walleyes – FULL EPISODE

Door County Wisconsin is one of our favorite places to fish, and one of the main reasons is Dale Stroschine, who has been putting us on fish for almost 30 years. Dale grew up on these waters, and over the years his passion for fishing, and determination to find fish, has never wavered. We’ve been coming up every spring to target jumbo walleyes, and it’s always been an adventure. This year, as most years are, it was about quality, not quantity. Using hair jigs, or soft plastics were the key to success during our trip, but each day is different. Dale always urges anglers to try what they have the most confidence in, and then switch to something else if a pattern emerges.

It was great to be back on the walleyes in Door County, and we can’t wait to head back for bass in the near future.
