DIY Surface Skimmer for Aquarium | Aquarium Surface Cleaner | Fish Tank oil layer remove

Hello Friend, I am going to explain How to make DIY Aquarium Surface Skimmer/cleaner. Some time I saw oil layer on top surface of my tank this can come from feed which has more protein or may be from home made food like boiled potato or some other vegetable. Some time I saw a dust layer on surface which looks very bad also if this layer is more thick it can make hurdle in gas transformation CO2 went out and O2 come into tank so better to clean top surface of tank for better gas exchange.

Lot of products are available in market but they are much expensive so i made this skimmer or surface cleaner from power head pump RS-3002 which i have spare in my home. I use this power head for skimmer but not did any permanent modification in it so it can also work as power head Filter. I can use it as skimmer after long time when i observe tank top surface is dirty or oil just for 1 Hr after that no need but if still tank has oily or dusty top layer then need to find the issue and solve it.
