Arowana is also known as the dragon fish. This Sushi is generally found in Black water river slow moving water usable flowing through forest and wetlands. This fishes are highly adaptive to freshwater and cannot survive the Marine atmosphere hence Ravana are not suitable for surviving in ocean water.
So do not keep Arowana fish in marine fish tank.
Arowana fish is expensive fish to take care of.
Even if you provide the best situation for it to survive in aquarium like any other creature the disease can easily affect or effect Arowana ones it’s resistance to disease is low. Other than in sufficient care, contamination, bacterial and Parasitic attack are the main factors that contribute to the ill health of an Arowana.
Bad or unsanitized water, decaying leaf over, improper feeding as well as decrease in the level of dissolved oxygen in the tank and lead the poor fish to have turned or decayed gills, cloudy eyes, white and red spots and wraped scales.
