I have been in the aquarium hobby since I was 12 years old. I have kept many different species of freshwater tropical fish species ranging from Oscar Cichlids to Motoro Stingrays, Arowanas, Red Tail Catfish, Pacu, and even smaller community fish like Angelfish and Corydoras catfish. I have many years of freshwater fish keeping experience under my belt. In my early 20’s, I got my first saltwater aquarium. I have only kept saltwater tropical fish and am not into corals. I have kept triggerfish, puffer fish, clown fish, foxface rabbitfish, and more! I love both freshwater aquariums and saltwater aquariums. What are the differences between freshwater and saltwater aquariums? I will also discuss the good and bad of each one! Which one do I like best, freshwater or saltwater?
