Alligator Gar Fish in Freshwater Aquarium

Alligator Gar Fish though looks little weird but they are among the giant fish that can be kept in Large Aquariums. The fact is that they are commonly the inhabitants of north america known by their scientific name Atractosteus spatula. Alligator gar are monster fishes and can grow up to 10 ft. that is 3 meters and female alligator gar live up to 50 years while male live around 26 years. These fishes have elongated mouth packed with sharp teethes but they are not that much dangerous and doesn’t attack human much. Watch this video to see alligator gar fish yourself.
