In memoriam of Dozer
June 30, 2008 – February 3, 2023
Dozer had an acute onset of Gastric Dilatation Volvulus (GDV) where his stomach got twisted. I rushed him to the NC State emergency vet. The staff there are so caring and told me they’d keep my buddy comfortable. They kept me updated on Dozer and told me my options. I couldn’t see putting my 15-year-old sidekick through surgery and suffering.
I had to make the hard but right decision to euthanize my sweet boy Dozer. My Mom, brother, and I were able to spend some time with Dozer before he crossed the rainbow bridge to heaven. He is in no more pain. I want to thank my veterinarian that took care of Dozer throughout his life and everyone at the NC State Vet School for taking care of my buddy. I received his clay paw print from NC State Vet School and precious sympathy cards from many people. Dozer had such a wonderful life and gave me unconditional love. I believe that Jesus brought me and Dozer together. Dozer is now in heaven with his creator.
Your loving soul will be missed Dozer but you will always stay in my heart ❤️
