The Dog Rescuer: Life With 20 Dogs At Home | This Morning

This week an animal welfare charity reported that due to the cost of living crisis they have received 4,000 calls from people looking to give up their pets – three times as many as in 2021. Vet Sharon Williams has seen an increase in owners struggling to afford their pet’s medical bills with owners even asking for their poorly dog to be put down. Sharon can’t bear to see a dog put down unnecessarily, so has begun taking in the pooches herself – and now has 20 at home! She joins us today with two of her rescue pups to explain more and give her advice on what to do if you’re struggling with pet expenses.
