My name is Phyllida but you can call me Phyll. I am the owner and lead trainer for Optimistic Dogs. My passion is helping to forge the relationship between dogs and their humans. As a New Zealander and a woman of a certain age (heh, we need to have some secrets, don’t we?) I realized that I wasn’t getting any younger and there was no time like the present to pursue my long time dream of helping others gain a deep connection with their dogs. That is how optimistic dogs was born. My mission is to make a positive impact on the connection between people and the dogs they love, so that they develop a trusting, fun relationship together. I love to see my clients being excited as, through my help, they gain that outstanding connection that they dreamed of when they first got their dog. I love seeing a strong dog & human bond and it is my mission to help make that happen for all my clients, so that I know deep down that I have contributed to their harmony.
