RV tip!! Will the slide come out without hitting anything?
In this video, we will show you how to check if your RV slide will hit anything when you put it out. This is an important safety check to do before you use your RV, as a hitting object could damage your RV or even cause an accident.
We will show you a m simple method for checking your RV slide:
The visual method: Simply stand in front of your RV and look at the slide. If you can see anything that the slide might hit, you need to take steps to prevent a collision.
The measuring method: This method is more accurate, but it requires you to have to use just YOU. Measure the distance from the end of the slide to the nearest object using your arm. If the distance is less than the length of the slide, you need to take steps to prevent a collision.
We will also show you some tips for preventing your RV slide from hitting anything. These tips include:
Make sure there is nothing in front of the slide before you put it out.
Park your RV in a level spot.
Use chock blocks to prevent your RV from rolling.
We hope this video helps you to keep your RV safe and secure. Thanks for watching!

Hey Y’all!
We are just regular folks who LOVE to camp and meet new people. We have moved up from a pop-up to a travel trailer to a 5th wheel to our 2022 Keystone Fuzion 428 triple axle toy hauler. Ours does look a little different because we opted for the Keystone Fuzion full body paint scheme. If you see us camping, stop by and say hi, we are always excited to meet other campers who are enjoying the camping life.
