As someone approaches as soon as your dog spots them before they react, drop a healthy amount of treats on the floor and then stand in front of the dog.

This teaches the dog that looking at a person walking towards equals food and you have their back Vs looking at a person and that person causing a stress response.

All dogs are food motivated. We see so many dogs come to us who are apparently not food motivated, but as soon as you start to get the lead walking under control, start to advocate for your dog, start to project confidence, they soon start taking food.
