Defensive aggressive German Shepherd learning that menacing other dogs is pointless.
In Episode 2 of Things You Can Learn For Free at Freedom Park on Select Sundays, the overly defensive, fearful male GSD starts to understand that the scary thing doesn’t “go away” just because he’s pretending to throw hands.
Through successive approximations, he begins to realize and *accept* that all the bloviating is pretty pointless. The other dogs stopped caring, or never cared to begin with.
An interesting capture of applying the concept of “flooding” in a way the dog (GSD in crate) learns that he can actually control his emotions, and the two younger dogs learn not to be concerned by his empty threats.
