“Milky and her siblings were rescued by my family close to 5 years ago. Prior to the rescue mission, we didn’t have any cats nor have any experience with cats. In fact we wanted to get a dog! But as I read more online about puppy mills etc, I was shocked about the breeding conditions and decided not purchase but instead #adoptdontshop. Also, I went to read up about kittens and cats, and learnt that kittens can’t survive long outside because they are prone to many dangerous elements such as natural predators (sightings of monitor lizards ard our area), parasites, car accidents, lack of food, and the unthinkable human abuses. Hence we decided to rescue Milky and her siblings when they have weaned from the mother. It was also a good timing because the kittens started to venture further away from the litter, a sign of gaining independence.⁠

We booked an appt with a vet brought them for health check up. As we foster them, my entire family fell in love w the cats and we later #fosterfailed. Fast forward 5 years, this was one the best decisions in my life. My family loves them a lot and we have been caring for them since😊”⁠
