Their cute, squashy faces have made them a celebrity must-have pet, but does it all come at a cost? Flat-faced cats like Tardar Sauce, known as the famous Grumpy Cat, have become a popular pet among celebrities, including Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. But animal welfare experts warn that their celebrity following is encouraging breeders to produce cats with extreme feline features, leading to ill health and breathing problems. We have two ‘grumpy cats’ in the studio alongside Vet Scott Miller and cat owner Lesley Smith.
