How to clean a cat water fountain in short: scrub, wash, rinse, repeat. You only need 3 items to clean a cat water fountain and it takes just 10 minutes!

Hair, dust, bugs, and other unwanted objects can enter the water reserve of the fountain and this can clog and contaminate the water. The filter and pump also need to be cleaned frequently to ensure the fountain works properly for as long as possible.
