Cat in heat! In heat” refers to when a cat is fertile and ready to mate. A cat’s first heat happens when she hits puberty at six to 10 months old. Her oestrus cycle will usually last four to five days and, unless she becomes pregnant, she will be in heat again in roughly two to three weeks. Female cat in heat! Maui is in heat! Maui is a stray rescued cat when she was pregnant she came over to our house. She gave birth to a 3 kittens and they all female too. Now she’s in heat.Due to covid19 and we have so many positive cases in our area and the vet clinics are closed. We cannot bring her to the vet to have her spay. We will wait until the borders open. Hope it won’t take so long.

Noisy, aggressive, prone to escape attempts:
Cats can be annoying when they’re in heat, but its important to be patient with your pet.
She didn’t ask to be in heat, and a little patience and care from you can help them get through it with minimal stress and discomfort.
Spaying or Neutering your cat is good for your pets health and to prevents unwanted births and reduces the influence of sex hormones on your pets behaviour.
