I am going to be sharing my experience of seeing our cat becoming mother for the first time and tips on how to know if a cat is pregnant, how to know when is the cat going into labour, how to care for your cat post labour and what not. 😍
🐈Here comes the time for Nikki, after 9 weeks of pregnancy, to give birth to little kittens. Since this was her first birth, she didn’t know what to expect, but nature helped her in everything. I was calm and patient with her, and did not interfere with the process. I was very happy that there were no emergencies and she did not require my help.
Nikki behaved well, too. She was the first to lick each kitten and make sure everyone was breathing. Finally, tired, she lay down next to the kittens and they followed their instincts and crawled up to their mother’s tummy looking for milk.
