It is not recommended to purchase this cat until you’ve unlocked Talents. Roll the Rare Cat Capsule instead for a chance to get its stronger variant, Salon Cat. However, if you do purchase this cat, be aware that it is only useful very early on, prior to obtaining Salon, or very late, if heavily talented. Use it alongside meatshields in stages with plenty of money available to build up a stack and deliver high DPS from a distance.
It also has some great combos like Arm Day Everyday, a 4-slot defense combo.
True Form
By the time you unlock Beefcake cat, you’ll probably have Paris Cat, meaning that there is no real reason to use this Cat, especially because, while you can expect to unlock Paris’ True Form and give her +levels, Beefcake is stuck with much lower damage and no chance to convert dupes into extra levels, which will widen the gap over time.
Talents
Beefcake Cat absolutely needs the boost from his health and damage up Talents in order to be usable, as his stats will not be relevant late-game otherwise. After and only after unlocking those, consider unlocking Evade Surge, a more unique than rare trait for a replaceable attacker which will become very relevant in late game when said threats become prominent. Strengthen is also a nice addition, further increasing his attack power. Slow Resist is expensive and situational, thus not recommended.
