An injured cat gets help

Sometimes there is no easy way to tell a story. People gathered on the sidewalk one day a few months ago and watched with alarm as a neighbor suffering a mental health crisis threw a succession of household items out of their 6th-story window. When a grey fluffy cat landed amid the melee, the onlookers sprung into action, herding him into a nearby shed. A volunteer grabbed a carrier, popped him in, and got him straight to the emergency vet. While his injuries were grave, he soon proved himself extremely dedicated to both surviving and showering the many, many, people that have helped care for him since that day with love.
