A Pregnant Cat Walked Up to People for a Place to Stay

A pregnant calico cat named Calico approached people on the street looking for help.
Kuwait Animal Aid, led by Alina Lazaryeva, rescued Calico and provided her with a foster home to start a new life indoors.
Initially underweight and with stomach issues, Calico gained three pounds over a few weeks, surprising everyone when they discovered she was pregnant a month into foster care.
Calico gave birth to six healthy kittens on September 23 and became an attentive and caring mother.
The kittens, now one month old, are growing and thriving under Mama Calico’s care, displaying energy and mischief as they learn to eat from a plate.
