How I Qualified for the Bassmaster Classic Kayak!
Day 2! I had to catch em! So I went out and gave er hell!
I was able to expand on a pattern I discovered on Day 1 and it consistently was producing bigger fish. Front sides of islands was the key. Chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, flukes… didn’t matter, the front sides had bigs ready to eat.
Ultimately, I ruined my chance at a blue trophy by stumbling on Day 1 but… I still secured a Classic birth with my 4th place finish.
Also… I don’t care what position you’re in during a tournament. If an angler is fishing water, don’t come in and ask to bypass them because you think your name, status or position entitles you to water. I didn’t let this interaction affect me, I went about my business and kept fishing how I was fishing.
Classic Bound… on my own, without the help of a coach in practice, waypoints from a guide (via my battery brand manager) or anything else. Just hard work on my own part!
