3 ESSENTIAL Terrarium Tips For Beginners!

Tip 1 – overwatering:
Unfortunately overwatering a terrarium can be very easy & is definitely one of the most common mistakes beginners make. Make sure you only water until the substrate is damp & NOT wet!

Tip 2 – direct sunlight:
The quickest way to kill a terrarium is by placing it in direct sunlight, instead find a bright spot in indirect sunlight, or place under some LED lights.

Tip 3 – substrate:
The substrate of a terrarium is one of the most important things for it to be a long term success. Here’s the mix I’ve used to make thousands of successful terrariums:

Coco fibre 1 part
Sphagnum moss 2 parts
Orchid bark 1/4 part
Charcoal 1/4 part
Worm castings 1/4 part
