DIY Chicken Coop Ideas. We made many changes and improvements to make it less work and more fun. Your wife will go crazy if she sees this. It will cost you money. We have spent over $16,000 since we started.
Here is how it began. My wife and I were looking to buy a property. We came across 36 acres of wooded area. Her eyes lit up, and the 1 st request she had before even buying the place was she wanted chickens. Being from Mexico, little did she know about having chickens in a much colder climate. So we were fortunate to get the place, and within a month, we started to build the Chicken Coop. We watched a lot of YouTube videos and made some mistakes, too. It took us a year and a lot of sweat to come this far.
I think there is always something to improve on. So, it is just an ongoing process.
