Building a freshwater system in our expedition trawler – Project Brupeg Ep.320

Please consider supporting the project each week with a few dollars

While we wait for the propellor shaft adapter to be remachined after finding it wasnt built correctly last week, we didnt twiddle our thumbs!

Birk and Dame got stuck into finishing the fresh water tanks, pump and filtration system that we use onboard Brupeg to store our fresh drinking water and pump it around the boat.
We take a step back in time a little as this system started life a few months ago with Birk fabricating the stainless mounts for pump and filters and then more recently when the system was assembled and tested.

With this completed we now know the total fresh water capacity of Brupeg and with the system operational we will be using tank supply from this point on so we can resolve any teething issues prior to launching the boat and becoming completely dependant on these tanks to sustain the crew.

Thank you for your incredible support this week, we absolutely adore you, and what you make possible.

Take care and we hope you enjoy this episode
