Dr. Cartwright grew up on the southern coast of Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2004 and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State in 2008. Shortly after, she moved to Arizona with her husband Joe and practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian in Kingman. In July of 2012, Dr. Cartwright opened Advanced Animal Care in Fort Mohave.
“There is a lot of diversity with a small animal practice that enables me to do what I love, getting to know my patients, and being a part of their lives.” Dr. Cartwright has advanced training in veterinary dentistry and jaw fracture repair. She is also one of the only veterinarians in the area that performs Cruciate Ligament Repair Surgery.
Dr. Cartwright shares her home with her husband Joe, their two kids, cats Cheese and Crackers, and her dog Bernice.
The hospital in Fort Mohave has all of the amenities that you would expect in a human hospital. Therapeutic laser, Acupuncture, massage therapy, Digital X-Ray, Ultra Sound, Dental X-Rays and surgical suites are all available for your animal.
Advanced Animal Care also offers boarding for your animals. If you are in need of short term boarding and have your pet as a current client with the hospital this feature is available.
