In this video, I provide a list of my top 5 favourite stocking ideas for a 55 gallon fish tank! These are some of my favourite fish for 4 foot aquariums and these are some super cool fish!

1. Barbs
I recommend putting 20 tiger barbs into your 55 gallon aquarium. These are a super active fish that always makes a fun time feeding.
2. Tetras
Filling up a tank with tetras and live plants makes a beautiful display every time! I recommend adding 40 – 50 neon tetras to a heavily planted aquarium.
3. Rainbowfish
A 55 gallon aquarium is the perfect size for most species of rainbowfish. I recommend adding 8-10 boesemani rainbowfish to your aquarium as they are one of the most beautiful rainbowfish in my opinion.
4. Angelfish
I recommend adding 6 angelfish to your 55 gallon aquarium! This is the perfect size tank for angelfish adults.
5. Endlers
Endlers breed like crazy! Adding a few trios of these guys to a 55 gallon aquarium will give you a never-ending supply of really cool adults and fry!
