What I see in the majority of dog owners is selfishness. Selfishness where the world revolves around them disregarding the needs of their dog. All a dog has is YOU. All a dog wants is your LAL (love, attention & leadership). Yet many owners fail at all of these. If it is raining, snowing, cold, hot or anything in between your dog still needs to get out. Your dog still needs to be taken on structured walks. Your dog still needs to get outside with you working. Maybe your not feeling well……again your dog does not care. THEY HAVE NEEDS just as you have needs. And far too often I see people put themselves first. When you get a dog you sign up that day to put that dog before your own needs and care for them to the fullest. Please remember this message day to day. If you follow through with LAL your bond will become stronger with your dog, your dog will be happier and in the end you will be happier.
