Guide to owning a Quaker Parrot/Monk Parakeet: What its like

Hello everybody todays video is on the pros and cons of owning a quaker parrot and what they are like as pets. Please note I’m not trying to discourage anyone from getting one I’m just trying to prevent people from having an incorrect representation of their personality and behaviour that usually leads to rehoming. They are fantastic birds, really funny and cute, but they are also territorial and aggressive and if not properly trained they can become quite unpleasant.
Hopefully this video helps to have a better idea of what to expect and this video isn’t to say all quakers are like this, there are exceptions this is just my experience and as well the general knowledge about them.

I also forgot to mention that quakers get their name from these seizure like movements they make randomly, so dont be alert if this happens.
