The Shi Poo is an offspring of the Toy Poodle and the Shih Tzu. The Shi Poo is a newer designer dog, so it gets tricky to track and trace where they came from, but it is believed the first cross breed of the Shih Poo comes from North America.

And while we are talking about backgrounds let’s talk a little bit about the origins of the Poodle and the Shih Tzu. The Poodle originated all the way back to Germany, while the Shih Tzu comes from China.

This cuddly small poodle mix also goes by the names of Shoodle or Pooshi.
